Everything you need is close by, with plenty of opportunities to cycle, walk or shop in Kollum or Dokkum. Leeuwarden and Groningen are both a half-hour drive away.
Here you experience outdoor living the way it's meant to be: plenty of space, complete privacy, quiet, and sweeping views that carry their own charm through every season. The guest suite has its own fully enclosed garden with terrace. Settle into the comfortable lounge set, read a book in the sun, and enjoy the sunset in the evening. For an extra atmospheric evening, it's possible, by arrangement, to light the fire pit. The perfect setting for a relaxed evening outdoors.

Prachtig huisje, knus ingericht en uitzicht vanaf de bank over de weilanden (en schaapjes als die er lopen).
B&B Pake's Hiem overtrof onze verwachtingen. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren die leuke tips gaven voor o.a. prachtige fietstochten rondom het Lauwersmeer.

In the heart of Northeast Friesland
Plenty of opportunities to cycle, walk or shop in Kollum or Dokkum. Leeuwarden and Groningen are both a half-hour drive away. There's lots to explore in Northeast Friesland.
From Lauwersoog you can take the boat for a day trip to Schiermonnikoog, go canoeing, paddleboarding, rent a boat, go fishing or visit a wine tasting. It's all possible.
